December 5 is the International Day of Volunteers, organized in order to recognize and support the important role of volunteers in society, their selfless contribution in helping the needy, various charity and social initiatives.

Volunteering is a huge, renewable resource for solving social, economic and environmental problems around the world. As the world faces growing challenges, volunteers are often the first to come to the rescue. Volunteers are on the front lines of crisis and emergency response, often making the first contribution in very complex and difficult situations.

On the eve of the fair, the head of the Aktobe youth center, N. Kozhabekov, awarded the activists of @ashyq_zhurek of the “Open Heart” volunteer club established by @nursultanqazihanuly college with a letter of thanks.
