On October 24 of this year, with the support of the Education Department of the Aktobe region and organized by the Bopai Khaim Higher Medical College, a republican scientific-practical conference was held among students of technical and vocational education organizations under the theme “The Historical Figure of Bopai Khaim – A Foundation of Education.”

The purpose of the conference was to enhance the appreciation of national values among youth, to promote respect for national heritage, to improve the quality of training for medical specialists, and to emphasize the importance of students’ scientific research activities.

During the conference, the implementation of the “Unified Education” program, based on Order No. 194 dated July 30, 2024, and the execution of the State Program for the Development of Health Care in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2020-2025 were discussed, with a focus on fostering students’ interest in scientific research and their creative abilities.

The plenary session was opened by Ahan Bekezhan Akhanovich, President of the Baishev Education Group and General Director of the college, who presented certificates for the Bopai Khaim scholarship to third-year students in the “General Medicine” program, Aikoz Ermekkyzy and Kaisar Qairatuly Eskayir.

Shynar Janbolatovna Ermekova, acting Deputy Head of the Regional Health Department, Gulaiym Mukhambetzadykovna Ayapova, Director of the Regional Methodological Center representing the Education Department, Raushan Nurlanqyzy Perneshova, Deputy Director for Practical Training at the “AVIMED” Multidisciplinary College in Shymkent, and Juldyz Abdrashitovna Aibasova, Director of the college and Candidate of Medical Sciences, delivered congratulatory speeches.

In the section titled “The Educational Role of the Image of Bopai Khaim,” chaired by Bakit Sagyndykovna Kulbaeva, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences and Dean of Baishev University, the jury included Samal Musakiz, Deputy Director for Educational Work at the Higher Medical College named after Hero of the Soviet Union Manshuk Mametova, and Akzhanat Zhaksybaevna Istleuova, Head of the “General Education and Socio-Economic Subjects” Academic Department.

In the section “Current Issues in Medicine and Health Care,” chaired by Juldyz Abdrashitovna Aibasova, the jury consisted of Shalkynbay Utegenovich Jandosov, Head of the “Applied Bachelor of Nursing” Department, and Moldir Zhuldyzbay, a fourth-year student and winner of regional and republican scientific-practical conferences. Additionally, in another section, Shadyman Baktygereevich Nasukhin, Candidate of Medical Sciences and the consultant on scientific issues, along with forensic expert Askaruly Otesin and instructor Yakub Mikailovich Tamaev, served as judges.

In the section “New Kazakhstan – Through the Eyes of Youth,” the chair was Samgat Janbolatovich Artygalin, Head of the Youth Policy Department of Aktobe Region, with co-chairs including Akbayan Muratkyzy Abishova from the “Regional Youth Resource Center” and Janara Bolatovna Shakhabaeva, a history lecturer and Master of Historical Sciences. Ayidin Zhaksyanuly Abdenov, Associate Professor and Candidate of Historical Sciences from the Regional University named after K. Zhubanov, and Shamsyraq Saduakassovna Zholamanova, project coordinator for the “Unified Education” initiative at Baishev Education Group, also participated, along with Tulegen Nazereke Nurlanqyzy, a third-year student and president of the “Free Word” debate club.

The conference was attended by 143 college students and their mentors from Astana, Shymkent, and the regions of Kyzylorda, South Kazakhstan, and Aktobe.
